ABOUT US
An award-winning theatre company founded by two Gen-Z producers from China.

Our name plays on the Mandarin homophone of our generation (“00后”) and the egg we’re emerging from: immature, but stepping up anyway.
We embrace creation, transformation, and the messy beauty of beginnings. We support experimental works, new writing, underrepresented voices, and mixed media. We believe in the value of the unfinished, the unlabelled, the unapproved - like a freshly cracked egg: soft, slippery, but fully alive.
Who We Are

Zoe Yingying Xie
She/Her
I’m a London-based creative producer and a recent graduate of the MA Creative Producing programme at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, supported by the Embassy Scholarship. I am currently working at an international theatrical production company producing work for the West End, Broadway and beyond. Since moving to the UK, I’ve had the privilege of gaining hands-on experience across producing and marketing through placements at Camden People’s Theatre, Jermyn Street Theatre and ROYO Entertainment. My producing journey began at SMG LIVE, one of China’s largest performance groups, where I supported major commercial productions including the Mandarin-language national tour of The Phantom of the Opera and other licensed musicals and large-scale performances. As a producer, I’ve worked across immersive theatre, contemporary concerts, applied theatre and cross-disciplinary projects, with work presented at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Camden Fringe, the Beijing Music Festival, Theatre YOUNG and Poly Grand Theatre. My debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2025 received the Outstanding Youth Performance Award from the Asian Arts Awards. I also run a theatre-focused platform with over 40,000 followers and contribute as a reviewer to Sound Behind the Curtain. Alongside my work in theatre, I have a strong background in album creative planning, having led physical campaign releases for leading Chinese musicians as well as international artists in partnership with Sony Music China.
